THE SCIENCE BEHIND SINUSAUNA
Learn more about SinuSauna
and how heated dry air therapy works
Harnessing heat to slow viruses and support your body's natural defenses.
Why heated dry air works
- Germs dislike heat: Most can’t survive above 102°F — SinuSauna delivers a toasty 130°F.
- Dry beats wet: Germs thrive in moist environments. Dry heat slows their growth.
- Boosts your defenses: Heat activates Heat Shock Proteins (HSPs) that support your immune system.
- What heat shock proteins do: They reorganize your cells, stabilize stressed systems, and revitalize your natural defenses
- Stay ahead of illness: Regular use helps reduce buildup before symptoms start

How do I adjust the temperature?

For optimal comfort and safety, we recommend starting with the lowest setting and gradually increasing the temperature based on your personal preference. Listen to your body and adjust as needed.
Different light colors align with temperature settings. SinuSauna will default to yellow, or approximately 130°F. As you hold the button, the LED color will change as the temperature increases.
- Before placing the mask over your nose and mouth, press and hold the power button. Continue to hold the button until the desired temperature is achieved.
- If you want to reduce the temperature, press and release the power button. This will turn the heating element off and you can start the above process again to reach the preferred temperature.
How often should I use SinuSauna?

It is recommended that you use SinuSauna 2-3 times per week or if you suspect you have been exposed to germs. If you have been exposed to germs, using SinuSauna daily for up to two (2) days after exposure will be most effective in drying out the germs.
For how long should I use SinuSauna?

SinuSauna is designed to turn off automatically after 20 minutes. It is safe to use daily, but the recommended usage is 2-3 times per week.
